Abstract

The paper is devoted to the problem of the literary anthropology of N.V. Gogol and A.F. Pisemsky in the poem "Dead souls" and in the novel "Turbulent sea". Study is made of Gogol’s "artistic platonism" and Pisemsky’s "negative anthropology" as ways of the anthropological reconstruction of the epical image of the world.
