The ways of modeling social realities in present day Russian

The paper discusses linguistic models of social reality in Russian. Russian may be said to contain three models of social reality: 1) model, representing social realities as ideal entities, actualized in real life; this model is realized in a system of distinct denominations of social objects, 2) metaphorical model, representing obscure social objects as understandable objects of other se-mantic domains and 3) model, assigning ideological evaluations and other social connotations to social objects.
