The rhematic direct object case marking in the Tuvan language

Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of the direct object case marking in the Tuvan language. It was revealed that the choice of the direct object case form depends on its position in the communicative structure. The use of rhematic direct object in Nominative and Accusative case is examined in detail in different types of sentences.
