Abstract
The article explores the change of the concept and of the situation of the silence in the correlation with the speech and the writing within the different periods of the Brodsky’s life. The Silence receives in the Brodsky’s lyrics the meaning of the absurdity of the objective reality and of the concealed despair of the poet.
